For the people worrying about the lack of sun in the park, the shadows these towers will bring...

Only from afar. Up close, it's clear that 220 CPS is a much more lavish, expensive structure.

Have you guys noticed how the west-facing window pattern changes about halfway up the building? Anyone know why?

It's likely because of different unit types, but in previous interviews Robert Stern has given, he talks about an affinity for seeing the pattern of windows changing as a building rises. You'll notice this in particular at 30 Park place, the windows change size, quantity and scale going up the building, very deliberately an aesthetic choice by stern. We'll probably see some of that here.

The CPS facade on the "villa" structure is fantastic. If only they could supersize that building.

This tower is too nice to be shorter than One57 right next to it. C'mon guys, 53 more feet.

IMO, One57 was never stellar or good. I'll give it credit for being the precursor to the greatest boom ever, and the grand daddy of the 57th Street corridor, but in terms of the design, years later, it kinda doesn't have wow factor.

520 Park is the most refined and pure towers in terms of capturing that pre-war, 20's look. But 220 CPS is a great tower. One of Sterns top works.

Kinda thinking about it, One57 would fit more at home in LIC. 220 CPS is just made for the area that its in, but One57 aims for that more modern, futuristic look, and LIC is definitely modern in terms of its surroundings.
