Snow in Paris, February and March 2018

It's summer, then let's remember the end of winter when we had a cold wave thanks to Russia (Rule number one always blame the wind coming from a foreign country ).

It was the heaviest snow fall since 1987. It rarely snows in Paris.

1. We begin in the northeast side of Central Paris around Stalingrad.
A WARZONE according to some English tabloids.

2. I was disappointed, it's not like they said in the Express.
It's not a WARZONE invaded by migrants. I feel disillusioned. Did they lie to me ?

11. No more space to rent in this office building on the right, yet few years before there were some.
How could business rent space in a WARZONE, I can't understand.

Montrouge is very nice. It was very close to both places we stayed at on our last two trips to Paris.

That said, out here, there is more snow on the ground throughout the winter due to the cold. Whatever falls stays on the ground and accumulates with subsequent snowfall. In Montreal, a snowstorm like the ones you show would be considered a sprinkle.

Are they? Yeah, definitely now that I'm taking a better look.
You can see the typical difference in textures, from the real older ones on the right.

Oh, Greater Paris's Conservative municipalities... Still, they could afford some shiny contemporary designs over there.
Whatever, it's up to them, right?

I had no idea that Paris rarely received snow. Lovely photos.

I think snow happened more often back to the days of our elders, but in our day and age, even the mass transit system goes a little disturbed whenever it occurs.

Now the funniest is cars and their drivers. You can see them panic striken by a couple of inches of snow, slipping into sidewalks from their lack of skills.
I don't care, more than used to them, and I can ski anyway.

I guess dwellers like myself are the only snow and rain left to constantly pour over and over, here.
