Well, Pittsburgh and this whole region has loads of abandoned buildings from the collapse of the steel industry in the 80's, its pretty fascinating.

Excellent work! Brilliant night shots. Pittsburgh is amazing, and you know how to show it even prettier.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

This February will be my second time in Pennsylvania for the Harrisburg Great American Outdoor Show. Last year we spent 3 days in Philadelphia and this year we will be spending 3 days in Pittsburgh. After looking at your amazing photos I cant wait to go.

This thread is a little sickening. I'm not sure if there will ever be a Pittsburgh thread as incredible as this. You are an outstanding photographer!

Amazing photography!

What's up with the decaying trolley cars in the woods? Were some of those from Boston's Green Line, or old Pittsburgh cars?

Yes those in the photo are Boston Pcc cars. But at the location there were cars from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, and Philly as well. Some guy bought them in the early 90s to turn into a museum and have trolley tours but obviously he ran out of money and now theres about 50 trolleys rotting back in the woods near Johnstown.

Oh no! We'll be sad to see you leave Photolith. Philly is so flat, the topography won't play with you like Pittsburgh's does. It's my home-city. I can't help but say I prefer Pittsburgh.

We'll miss you!
