Thunder Baby We Were Born To Run

Here is a song you can play while viewing if you so choose.

For the first time in a long time I went out and instead of trying, I did.

As a very wise woman (Rita Rudner) once said: "Born to Run was not written for the violin."

Sage advice indeed.

Brilliant, atmospheric thread. I think the most compelling photo threads are the ones where people are shooting places they have strong feelings about. If they are a good photographer that always comes through in the emotional tone of the photos. Much better than a thread of shiny buildings in someone else's town.

I half expect to see a brooding Christopher Walken character in the background of one of these shots.

All joking aside, those are some fantastic shots.

Tried to find the gif of the armless man walking by and saying "Thank" but I couldn't find it after, like, an hour of searching, so now I guess I know why Tumblr users save gifs to their computers.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

And I was hearing Bruce Springsteen until I clicked on the song, a great thread of a cold and foggy night, making reality more soluble.

Dude, that was a grim and gloomy trip. And you did it on purpose.

I didn't just do it on purpose. I have been preparing for it for months.

Great photos. While I definitely do not like cold weather, I do love how it gets foggy in winter.
