Inter-Continental Motors Building - Broadway Corridor / Midtown - San Antonio

What is everyone's thoughts regarding the vacant Inter-Continental Motors Building on Broadway adjacent to Brackenridge Park? Heard any rumors regarding redevelopment of this building/site?

Here's a few links to further familiarize yourself with the building:

From saculturaltours.com : http://www.saculturaltours.com/spot.php?t=2&s=451

From dwell.com : http://new.dwell.com/contests/rethin...inental-motors

From mysa.com : http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/loc...ng-3518761.php

Finally, it's unclear if the Midtown Brackenridge Master Plan incorporates salvaging this existing building or not based on their .pdf Master Plan : http://www.midtownbrackenridge.com/w...Plan_SMALL.pdf

I would love to hear some feedback regarding this building/site and the Broadway Corridor as a whole.

I've always thought would be a cool place for a condo tower/retail center incorporating the old buildings, but I seriously doubt anyone who develops the site will keep tthem (even though they were designed by O'Neil Ford)

Same here on the residential front. The only thing I would like to see kept (if anything) would be the glass showroom portion that comes out to Broadway, I think that'd be a pretty good space for a small cafe or ???. Other than that, garage parking and a building that would line up with the trees along Parfun would be a great way to add some density to that section of Broadway and hopefully set the stage nicely for that (is)land across the street to find a higher and better use.
