Feds unveil a new technology to Create ‘World Without Drunk Driving'

Didn't see a news today. Federal unveil a new technology for drunk driving.

I am quite apprehensive about this technology. If it becomes successful, no doubt it will save thousands of lives worldwide. I have worked with a DUI attorney Los Angeles and have seen closely how drunk driving can affect your life to extremes. My first advice is never to do drunk driving.

I don't see how this is that different from current court ordered ignition interlock devices - they require the driver to blow to start the car, and then at several points along the trip.

Its not new technology - courts order it all the time.

A world without texting while driving would be nice too. An equally dangerous habit.
