a city we don't see enough around here.our country is so different from coast to coast.

newfoundland looks beautiful, it reminds of ireland but it's more wild... what jobs are available in newfoundland? I want to move to atlantic canada that's my new life goal

Why did the Basilica change its red doors in for tamer brown ones? Was there a religious objection to the bright red?

Awesome pictures! Now that we've got our own section, i'm seeing all these threads that I never knew existed because they were 'before my time' and lost in the pages of the Atlantic Section and I never bothered to look for them!

I love the photos. St. John's is indeed a beautiful city and very unique and a place that I am very proud to call my home. There is no place I would rather live. It's a booming city as well. Development is picking up steam quickly here and it shows no signs of stopping soon. But although we are starting to "grow up" (literally) we still remain true to our heritage and are preserving all that makes us unique. It makes me happy to see all the compliments of our fair little city and I invite everyone who see's this to come and visit; give the local economy a boost
