So obviously there's alot of information missing here. I don't think I'm missing any existing buildings, but there are alot of proposals (dead and alive) that need to get put in.

There are alot of good forumer photographers around the Valley. Let's see what you've got! Some of my photos here are 20+ years old.

Doing this thread did allow me to pick through my collection and realize that I've got a number of good detail photos of alot of buildings around town.

Great post. I noticed you didn't have any of the state government buildings. The Executive Tower and Department of Revenue are both 9 floors and likely tall enough to be included.

Executive Tower

Exactly the type of info I was looking for. I knew somebody would have a bunch.

If anyone has some spare time on their hands, the Arizona Room at the Phoenix Central Library has a bunch of documents from City Planning from 1982 and 1983 and from the Downtown Phoenix Partnership from 1999 and 2000 that has info on dozens of proposals that never really made the light of day. You can't check out anything from there, but I wonder if you could make copies or take photos?

Nice work.

I believe the tower was added to the Westward Ho in 1949.

I hope that I'm not the on;y one who thinks that the giant antenna on Westward Ho is very ugly. Why is it taller than the actual building? Why is it offset?

I like it. Just like the two antennas on top of the Hancock Tower in Chicago it's a distinctive and unique architectural element.

Great work plinko! Not sure if you or anyone else is interested but I have been putting together a similar page on my Wikipedia sandbox, its a little easier to read and I'm trying to source as much as possible, your info here was a great help in getting it filled in.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ca...ngs_in_Arizona

Not exactly sure what I'm going to do yet with the data as Wikipedia has already set precedent and don't seem to like by state skyscraper pages, so its pretty useless as of now but I think it would be neat to have a page like this for every state.

Also, I've tried hunting down photos for each building within the Commons and many still don't have pictures in the public domain, if anyone has any photos to contribute it would be appreciated by all. If you see any buildings that I left out or incorrect/missing data please feel welcome to contributed.

If nothing else one could put together a custom wiki for skyscrapers and dump all the data on there. Maybe even a wiki.skyscraperpage.com..

edit:updated link
