I missed the news tonight but usually the councillor most associated with the word ass is Stephen Orser.

Oh I know. I had an email exchange with him, and needless to say he's a sad human being. If he was to ever come on my property (live in his area), I would give him three requests to get off before I call the cops...

Anyways, it was a larger woman with brown hair

Edit: My guess was wrong! I was guessing based on the physical description of the councillor, not what had been said.

Believe she was against it. In the broadcast last night, she took a bit of a jab at the mayor

The blue-shirted ass in that video is Sandy White. I didn't see Branscombe in that video at all.

Sorry about that! K85 was asking if we knew who it might have been: I was only guessing that based on the fact that it was a “brown-haired woman.” I had not viewed the clip on television.

Only in London would they not put a paltry 410 million into getting a large downtown campus.

Sorry, I meant $10 million.................I didn't hit the shift button when I hit the "4"

This is incredibly short sighted as opportunities like major educational facilities going downtown don't happen very often.

If they paid more than $.10 for an agency to create that ad, they paid too much. We are such a hick town.

Yeah. The ads are just so bad.

Personally, I would never buy any food from such a grotty place as Gibraltar Weekend Market. It's the ultimate...in skanky-ness, grossness, and general decrepitude.

The husband of former mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best is leaving the bar business to pursue job interests in the U.S. Friday Knight Lights out, gator meat in

Quote:
Tim Worst is getting out of the bar business.

Seven years after opening Friday Knight Lights on Richmond St., the husband of former mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best is turning the establishment over to new owner Jim Ferreira, who will relaunch the place as the Grinning Gator Bar and Grill.

Worst said the business is doing well, but he has looked to sell for some time.

“We were waiting for the right people to come along with the right offer and the right attitude to running a restaurant in downtown London,” he said.

The nincompoop strikes again! Probably conceived in a drunken stupor while making out with some gal at "Solid Gold"
Former London mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best’s hubby is floating the idea

Pardon my French, but what a fucking stupid idea
Quote:
The Cayman Islands are a tiny, tropical paradise, perfect for surf, sand and ice?

So says Tim Best, husband of former London mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best, who’s floating the idea of an ice rink on the beach of one of the most exclusive places in the world.

“We’re in the exploratory stage,” he said Monday of the dream to build the $30-million Cayman Ice Palace, a 4,000-seat NHL-size rink on Seven Mile Beach in the banking haven’s capital city of George Town.

I noticed the LFP used a ~20 year old skyline shot on today's top story: http://www.lfpress.com/2014/11/02/bang-for-your-buck

Article itself is also interesting.

No older than 8 years. My building is in that picture, and it was built in 2006. What makes you think it is old?

They must've updated the photo, Jarad. I saw the article earlier today, and it was definitely a very dated photo. The City Centre towers still had their Canada Trust signage, before the TD merger.

I miss the Canada Trust logo.
