Coming alone, starting to get a real feel for her.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned there is some glass up here on the ground floor... I'll try and get a picture tomorrow.

Alternatively, a high cube warehouse. Just needs a few tilt-up panels to complete the feeling.

For the first time I am starting to pull it all together and understanding how it will look and feel.

Well our RAM definitely won't be the ROM... But it will be good addition to neighbourhood. Much better than post office obviously... Still think the underpass has to go. 100%. Community garden or not it creates a barrier both physically and psychologically between downtown and Chinatown.

Demolish everything!

The underpass/bridge is a great connection and a unique space, enhance it... art and light underneath, garden/park above, throw some high-line creativity at it.

Remand, repurpose.

^bull... There's a garden/park just north of it. And exterior of RAM will be park like as well... Overpass is completely useless and you cannot compare that shithole to high line... Or even the king high line in Toronto.

The remand I have less of an opinion on... It's ugly but would be a waste just to tear it down... But underpass removal, in my opinion, should be obvious. It's like someone crying over the loss of the rat hole or complementing the beauty of the legislature underpass...

Definitely the underpass has to go. Its a barrier visually and physiologically to RAM and the downtown. As long as it is there - nothing but pigeon shit and garbage will exist. Get rid of it and the land north of it will be redeveloped.

... right cause that is the cause of stagnant development. Our world needs some undulation and departure from homogeneity.
