Okay... Kayte Dolmatch's shots have suddenly filled me with a desire to break out my SimCity 4 Deluxe again. I don't think my boss (or my wife) would mind if I went home *sick*...

I happening to grab this screenshot from the 53rd St. cam about a week ago and I couldn't stop staring at it...



Something about the light...

What captivated me most, was how much it looks like a special FX matte paintings done for movies, notably, those done by Hollywood veteran Albert Whitlock
