More on the train shed reconstruction, and JP Morgan's role. They've already commited $25 million to that particular project. It will happen during construction of the tower, so there will be as little disruption as possible.

I am in Wichita, KS and are tallest is the Epic Center which is almost 400 feet to the tip. I am hoping this new proposal will be somewhere in the mid 500s or lower 600s. Not sure if it could be any taller than that. It is all supposed to be over 40 stories.

I never doubted Yimby’s 1,425’ spec.

The very top of the tower seems to be unoccupied space, which never factors into the DOB figures.

New York has many beautiful skyscrapers in the 500-800 foot range. I also like the bigger ones as well but they don't necessarily have to be that tall for me to be happy.

I’m leaning towards it being that height as well, but Central Park Tower, for example, has unoccupied space at the top ( like most ), but is listed at the full 1,550 ft height. The numbers for this one have moved around a bit, so it won’t hurt to see confirmation. Which we will, one way or the other.

This could be because Central Park Tower has floors all the way to the top even though they aren't occupied. It's not a completely empty parapet up there until the last few feet. I could be wrong but that would be my guess.

1,425 would be great, but didn't that correlate with the 1,341 DOB figure? With 1,388 it may surpass the Sears Tower and give Grand Hyatt incentive to go even taller. Seems like a possibility

A lot taller than that.

Central Park Tower doesn't have floors all the way to the top. It has mechanical equipment up top that is hidden by the parapet, which reaches 1,550 ft.

Anything is possible, but I stay with the facts as I see them until proven otherwise.

It is enjoying a moment in the spotlight, as are the other towers around 270.

I would tove to have a 47 story 650 foot skyscraper in Wichita, KS. An observation ferris wheel is also supposed to be built and it will likely be at least 550 feet tall.

I love New York skyline. It has more tall buildings than I could ever look at.

Really can't wait to see this one rise...1VB is impressive, but this is truly a mammoth, spectacular tower.

Though it wouldn't hurt if it were at least 1600 feet to the roof...in case you're listening Jamie Diamon

It was confirmed by someone on Yimby that the parapet is 1,388'. That's still pretty impressive.

Not surprising, I've been seeing that number in a few different places. Will still wait to see a zoning diagram.

Hopefully, RXR will greatly exceed that at the Grand Hyatt.
