Electricity pylons used as wind turbines

On http://www.treehugger.com/files/2009...ical-tower.php a project is desribed how existing electricity pylon can be modified in such way that they can also work as wind turbines without loosing their function as electricity pylons. Would be interesting, if it works.

Cool idea. Not sure retrofiting local poles would be worth it, but building new high-tension ones like shown totally makes sense.

Good idea, but I know the United States wouldn't do it because of our economic situation.

You must build additional pylons.
