This should definitely qualify for under construction! They've been pouring the foundation all week! Can't wait til HAIF gets some more birds eye view updates from SkylineView.

That area will certainly be alot denser in a few years. Also we got the Gables starting very soon. Exciting times for Houston.

That is more than site prep IMO. Last time I looked at this thread (seemed like just a few weeks ago) there was a building still on this site being demolished.

Not to go off-topic, but which Gables project is that? There's so much going on I forget which project is which

It's the new 446 unit Gables residential tower that will will be built directly in front of the new BBVA building off of Post Oak. In other words, Gables is going to build a large tower right by Transco Tower.

The Gables project isn't too close to Transco Tower(it's still on the north side of Westheimer), but it'll still bring the new construction that way. It's also a 446 Unit Hotel/Apartment tower, with an office tower(phase 3, curved tower behind Gables) projected to break ground around the same time. It really is incredible how much development is going on with post oak, and there are only going to be more announcements(BLVD place should have 3+ more towers)! Gonna need to change Post Oaks name to Crane Lane!

Any photos from the mat pour this past weekend? Hard to imagine something like that tying up Post Oak or the streets around it for any amount of time.

Impressive; when the crane goes up for the Belfiore, that should be quite a sight.
