Great walking tour photos.

I was going to visit St. Joseph's but unfortunately was out of town on Wednesday and ended up Shakespeare today instead. Looks like a very majestic and lovely church.
I go visit all the grand churches in Europe, but never really explored the unique ones in our city....

Will have to make the effort during next year's historic edmonton walks.

The Ukrainian one on 97 is also impressive. I will be doing a tour there next weekend.

Nice tour of St. Joseph's Basilica. I get the same tour at 12:05 pm for Mass a couple times a week.

Standoff by Dave Sutherland, on Flickr

While on a lunch bike ride, I slipped into this closed-off trail (shhh), where I encountered this coyote.

We stood watching each other for a bit, and then he started to approach me. I spoke loudly to him so that he might get the idea that maybe we should keep some distance.

Finally, he went to check out some bushes, and I went back the way I came.

I waited a bit then went back down the path. While trying to find the way I had come in, he snuck past me and continued further the way I had come from.

I guess we were just in each others way, waiting for the other to pass. Typical Canadians.

From the 87th avenue overpass last weekend. Need to go back on a cooler day and try to get the Hendrix and Edgewater towers into the shot as well.
