Alura, looks alot like Nuera. Should be interesting to see what color they use on the stucco portion.

A semi-trailer truck loaded with black glazed glass arrived on site this morning. Enough to cover several floors.

I think I like the look of Alura better than Nuera.

I agree. I think with the extra width of Alura it will have more a presence on the skyline. The East side of 1st will be quite the wall. Now we need the West side of 1st to be developed and we will have a superb canyon leaving the downtown.

They revised the plans to be only 29 floors with 10 units per floor instead of 36x8. It'll be just slightly shorter than Nuera, but we'll see how tall the top architectural feature is.

I agree that Alura will be a nice contrast to the other towers, but hopefully they don't develop the west side of Macleod Southbound and block everyone's west views!
