Milwaukee's Lakefront Development plan

I was surprised this hadn't been posted yet, as it would be a pretty positive change for Milwaukee. Basically, it improves the area of the lakefront by the art museum, improving traffic flow and pedestrian flow, as well as bringing a few new highrises.

Milwaukee seems to be 1 city that get overlooked too often because of its proximity to Chicago. What a beautiful city it is. Downtown has really improved in recent yrs.. the development along the river is amazing. Lakefront is changing & will change more so in the coming yrs. with new developments. I would like to see Milwaukee concentrate on building these 15-30-story residential towers (like a dozen of them over the next decade) along the lakefront downtown. With NWML building a gem of a office tower & an additional office tower proposed. Milwaukee's downtown will be among the finest in the midwest. The architecture downtown is so beautiful, hopefully, the city & developers decide to keep much of those smaller older buildings with character. They'll not regret it if done right.

hope the two new towers will get under way soon. i'm still hopeful that milwaukee will get a new tallest sometime in the near future, too... the US Bank has held that crown long enough.
