Welcome to Friendswood, Texas.
And this would be Henry Winston Stadium, home of the Friendswood Mustangs.
Anyone who has moved to Texas probably picked up that this is a pretty big deal here, outside the major urban city cores at least - i.e. where I've done most of the other photo threads here. Well, Friendswood is well outside of that, so this is a big deal here. (It's worth noting that Friendswood, unlike some, does a good job of supporting other athletics at the school as well.)
Visiting tonight is my alma mater, Texas City, which to make the playoffs needs to win and a couple of other schools to also win tonight. Otherwise the season's over. Friendswood will be in the playoffs and has only lost one game this year.

The head coaches, Tim Finn of Texas City and Steve Van Meter of Friendswood.
It's getting dark, so things are going to get a bit challenging.
He's not happy with that penalty.
After a slow start, Texas City is making a ballgame of it.
Aaaaaand touchdown TC.
But Friendswood comes right back, scores and retakes the lead. That's what they do.
And that's the game folks.
Hope y'all enjoyed a little something different this time.
