There are plans to cap over it and develop it with an 11 story building

With the Dalian behind it now, I'm sure a tower wouldn't fly.

Ditto.

The proposal was such an under-use of the property that it was painful to look at.

IIRC they've got approvals in place already. Or something.

What's the O/U on whether the next plan for this site is somehow worse?

They already have approvals. Not only that, but the only think that would make sense financially here is a tower. Capping this with a park would be too costly with $0 return on investment. Nobody would finance that/

I agree. If you recall on 1601 Vine thread people were complaining about the lack of life along the parkway. Well as I see it, the only way to increase life along the parkway is more residents and moving buildings in closer, which is exactly what this project would do.

It just looks like a drab apt building on the same piece of land as the Rodin museum. I definitely agree the Parkway needs more life and development around it, but its proximity to the museum literally looks like they crammed a development onto a historic site like the city is desperate for cash or something.

Good eye!

I also noticed that the Billy Penn shadow shows on the Aramark.
Two Lib is projected as well but I'm unsure what building that is though.

Funny thing is these photo's can be updated already...

FMC is bearly visible and One Water is not pictured at all.

Just credit to the rapidly changing skyline images of our City.

What are we talking about here? An 11 story building is not a tower. Is that still what is supposed to happen here?
