Full build-out of the $709 million Lone Star Brewery District mixed use project. This is on the other side of the CBD where the successful Pearl Brewery District is located in Tobin Hill.

Two other like projects are planned on the periphery of San Antonio's central Business District. Essex Modern City and Broadway East will be similar in size.

Thanks for the update! I thought that SA just didn't have much going on right now, but I was clearly wrong!

They may not be tall, but SA has some pretty attractive buildings. (Minus that octagonal thing near the top).

Lots of low-mid rise stuff going on in the urban core, as well as some high rises. The sub here just seems to be dead lately.

Hopefully that will change soon, the biggest building U/C is the first high rise apartment building downtown, minus the Floodgate which is also U/C. That building is more of a niche luxury building though. Last I read, the rates are going to be something like $4/sqft. If these projects do well, hopefully that spurs taller projects. The condos at the Thompson hotel pre-sold really fast so things are looking promising.

Dallas-based Trammell Crow and Pelli Clarke Architects to develop new 300k square foot office tower in Port San Antonio, southwest of downtown on the site of former Kelly Field/AFB. If developed as proposed, this tower will be completely iconic.
