They look awfully cheap. They must be permanent as there are no reason to change this out later ... cash must be the driver for the Katz Group. These are anything but world class design ... or as depicted in the renders but would look OK in the Walmart parking lot at South Common.

Is it just me, or are these Edmonton aerials one of our Yankee forumers showed woefully out of date

Doesnt look like it too much - stantec amd jw are there, walterdale is there, not showing west enough for 124th...

Id say maybe a year old, if that - based on the cranes still at walterdale

Photo looks old because the color of the time of day, or lack of saturation.... still looks awesome imo!

I don’t know if we are seeing different photos, but stantec and JW are definitely not fully built out. And NEW walterdale is under construction. AND old walterdale still standing. JW maybe half built? Maybe you are confusing city of Edmonton/Epcor/bell cluster With JW STANTEC. Definitely old aerials.

https://blog.remax.ca/is-edmonton-a-...n-real-estate/

Edit: I have no idea who’s website this is...just couldn’t find current aerial photo and thought this one was cool.

Clicking through to the photo's Flickr pages shows them both as mid-ish 2017.

Why all the bollards? Are they reopening 103 St to traffic in the future?

Not sure how limited the access will be, but yes I believe it will be opened again eventually. On non-event nights anyway.

That street looks like it would be a 10km/hr kind of road.

Now THAT's what I wish I could share more often with other forumers in other cities. In this respect, Edmonton thumps Calgary's or Winnipeg's skylines.

EDIT: the version that shows up on reddit, that won't display here for some reason.
