So any chance of any tower projects moving forward this year at least to sales in Kelowna? Or are the ones currently u/c what we got for the time being?

I'd imagine the downtown UBCO project is a sure thing. I'm not sure if we'll see anything UC this year though.

The ubco will take 2 years they said until there are shovels in the ground. I think we can look forward to them starting Bernard block this fall though. That is full steam ahead I believe. Will be cool to see another 30+ tower being built

It seems like they're eager to get Civic Precinct off and running.

Aqua's been delayed because Mission Group doesn't want it to steal Bernard Block sales, even though I think the projects will attract two completely different sets of buyers/investors but that's their area of expertise.

That’s great to hear that we may see Bernard Block move forward.

I have faith in the UBC proposal but figured that it is still a couple years out given the early stage that the proposal is at.

Which one is Civic Precinct?

Feel bad for the the hotel tower. Seemed like it was actually going to move ahead this year but now on hold because of Covid19 (though part of me feels as if they should build it now and it will be completed around the same time that the tourism industry will likely be picking up again).

I quit holding my breath for this project, they'll come up with excuse after excuse to delay the project. Tourism has picked up big time for Kelowna and the Okanagan though. Whatever we lost in foreign tourists, we gained in local tourists.

Sadly I think Aura is also among the proposals not moving forward anymore or has at least been delayed. Was really hoping it would break ground this year. The design was in line with what Ella brought to the area and that open lot along Harvey is just waiting to be redeveloped.

We were at zero active cases through most of June until the visitors came en masse, centred around a couple of parties with Lower Mainlanders and Albertans in attendance and it really only took 1 or 2 cases to suddenly cause an outbreak here.

I started wearing a mask anytime I'm outside but until it's mandated and enforced, most people are still at that 0 active cases mentality.

I'm wearing a mask any time I am indoors (other than in my home). Frustrating that some jabronis from out of town have kicked off a local outbreak.

Sole Rutland

Crane is up and forms in place for parking level of Sole Rutland. Didn’t have time to get out of the car but sniped a couple photos on my way past this morning.

Thanks for the pic. Any renderings of Sole around?

For Imgur, just use the letters s/m/l/h at the end of the seven digit link code to determine the size.

The scale of One Water Street is really impressive. It'll be nice to see a couple more buildings join the club.

The vineyards are as green as it can be, everything else is finally drying out after all the rain we've had up until the middle of the month if you look at Knox Mountain etc. in the distance. It doesn't take long for the landscape to yellow.
