They had the Christmas tree light-up ceremony yesterday, which is always well-attended. They could have an outdoor Santa Claus parade as a lead-up to this.

There is going to be a Winter City/NextGen patio party on Dec 8 @ the Public House (indoor/outdoor) from 8pm to late.

Hope some of you can make it out, dress warm and be ready to party outside.

How many times have I asked why Edmonton doesn't have a German Christmas market, only to be met with silence?

Something like that would be great for the Kaleido festival. Winter themed kiosks

And a reminder that Kaleido runs January 12th & 13th this year. It will be bigger and better than ever

Oops... yes... Deep Freeze

Some fun stuff is going on this year... the road hockey is going to be expanded, and teams from all over the city have signed up. That alone should drive a lot of people to the festival

I highly recommend a combo day of xcountry on Vic GC and then a few laps on the rink. Spectacular.

A day of Snow Shoeing along the Shore of Big Lake at Lois Hole Park. Then finnish it off with a pint of Yellowhead or a Hot Rum at the Enjoy Centre.
