Floors 2-7 should have a jump every 4 days. After that, every 3 days.
Seems they did not pick up the pace yet...

On 57th side, they still have only 4 outer columns.
Somewhere they have to switch over to 7 columns.
This will certainly also take some extra time due to the special construction details.

Wow!!! That's quick (when it happens). I wonder if the cold weather slows down the process (because of the cement curing, and cold just slows us humans down). Anyway, thanks for the quick answer.

The info on the planned jump frequency was on this site, maybe 10 or 20 pages ago, or in a link posted there somewhere.
I hope they can pick up that frequency soon, and top out approx. early 2014.

They have adjusted the 57th street camera for the core jump. Great to see that they are on top of this!

And Marcatio, thanks for the reply!

Wow, this tower is making excellent progress, though I suspect work will slow for the weekend due to the incoming blizzard.

Wonder how much truth there is to this...

A sharp surge in demand has put "developers in a position of strength," says Hirsch. In particular, she says, "demand from international buyers--from Israel as well as the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) is enormous."

For example, "Our partner in Qatar is seeing loads of interest in 432 Park Avenue, at 56th Street," she says. "The entry-level priced apartments have sold out completely and the building isn’t even built yet....

New York is the luckiest city in the world right now. But if you think about it that makes snese. I've always wondered why someone would want to invest their money in desert real estate or empty cities. NYC is the real deal, you've got everything there one could ever possibly want in a big city. Because of the large rise in the global middle class a lot of people suddenly have money they didn't before and they want to spend it.

All I can hear is the cash register going "Cha-Ching!"

Manhattan real-estate is a safe investment for foreign buyers, and frankly anyone who has the cash available to partake. I sense truth from that above quote.

Even so, is such a statement that overblown? Something is driving this demand.

Keep in mind that for the past thirty years most if not all of the world's wealthy have studied English, and often have studied in the US. Xi Jinping, leader of China, even now has a daughter studying at Harvard. Billionaires and personalities in other countries are comfortable in New York because nobody recognizes them, nobody bothers them, and they can blend in anywhere. The city's real estate is quality and about as durable of an investment one can make. I think New York having the status of a world city is going to only increase as globalization stretches further and further around the world.
