A good portion of the video is on Wilshire Grand.
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. I love watching this tower rise. It's the first 1,000 ft building I've ever seen do so.

They should have also included Salesforce Tower up in SF. That is an equally tall tower that is all office, not mixed use. I think it would have made the story more interesting to talk about that fact since this segment seems to suggest that mixed use is all that makes financial sense now when building skyscrapers.

If you look on the core they skipped floors 13 and 14. 13 is obviously bad luck, but 14? Why skip that?

Should of made this tower "88" floors, which signifies good luck or fortune. 88 being the lucky number, and also on the topic of skipping floors, that happens a lot in Asian developments. Its an interesting topic. Some of those numbers also correspond to sales on certain units. You will often find that Asian buyers tend to buy units with certain numbers if they are available. THis is done on purpose, and often symbolic. (Units in 432 or One57 for example).

With all the sections of crane tower stacked up at ground level, t looks like a big jump in cranes will happen soon.

Why hasn't the core jumped in like weeks? it seems like it was jumping a floor every 4-5 days like a month ago. Will it ever jump at that pace again?

They are letting the steel catch up, and build it together. It's am American practice. Other Countries usually top off the core of the building before erecting steel. It's still going up regardless. So don't worry.

Actually the steelwork needs to start seeing some fireproofing before we start seeing curtainwall...expecting it soon.
