^ Lol, i'd put it in the same category as the 'tower of the americas'
I wish they didn't make it look like a bucket. Oh well though, hopefully they surround the tower with nice new developments that hide it from view!!!

Maybe, they can tear down the podium and modernize it. Clean the towers concrete. Redesign the top!
and for heavens sake please get rid of those yellow cab elevators.
Okay, Im done! I have professed my hate for this 'landmark' tower!

I like the Niagara Falls skyline. Where NF falls short is how most of their tall buildings meet the street. They all seem to have this 'tower in the park' mentality rather then attempting to build a real urban city centre.

Like I said before..I know it's too late now and I'm being facetious, but Niagara Falls needs to get rid of all the Kitsch and camp, and turn it into a full bore Vegas..Shows and all..The Falls would be the back drop that attract people there in the first place...Pardon the pun, but they missed the boat on it years ago..As it stands now, it doesn't even come close to Vegas.
It does make money though, so I guess that's what counts in the end.
Just think of how that city would of boomed if they went Vegas to begin with right from the go...It's a moral debate as well I suppose..It's family friendly.

Where's Oxford place? Cn tower looks like it has lost some of it's presence in those renderings. Time to design a new landmark!

The entertainment towers, except for the Theatre Block trio, will have almost no impact on this view, they would be buried behind Cityplace.
I said I added some of the new towers, I'll add more and re-post it later. And yeah, I didn't add 7 of the 8 tallest yet, they will make a massive impact...

Maybe it's one of those subspace highways they were talking about in the Scott Pilgrim series...

Speaking of Oxford, I'm afraid they will block the view of most of the financial district from the CN Tower's main observation deck (though not from the Skypod), which is certainly a consideration in approving these things.
And speaking of the CN Tower, did you people know that a single adult ticket costs $32, while kids and seniors pay 24! What a fucking indefensible ripoff! I was there for dinner the other night for the first time in a couple of years and made a point of checking out the basic entry prices. If you plan to visit the CN Tower, I suggest only doing it in conjunction with a meal (minus alcohol), whose hefty price at least includes the entry fee. 360 is a good, if not excellent, dining experience.

Maybe they can flip the proposal the other way around? Probably wouldn't be to hard to do.

You'll still have 20-30m above Oxford from the main decks of the CN Tower. If staggered the right way like the old Twin Towers in NYC then the main core of the CBD should still be visible. And from the SkyPod, like previously said, there should be little change in the view. And what is, will be worth it to see the roof tops so close of the Oxford towers.

^According to the renders these twin towers will be positioned right next to each other. They will not be 'staggered' like the WTC twin towers in NYC.
