The transformation over the past decade is nothing short of amazing. Whole sections of downtown have been created, rising from the barren asphalt lots that used to ring the small CBD.
Regarding the "different" looks of Nashville, it's always nice to see a photographer avoid the same old shot of the "Batman" building from the Shelby Street bridge and give other angles of the city, and not just because half the downtown skyline is now out of that picture, to the left of the photographer. Lexy has a great eye, and obviously loves his city. Thanks for posting.
Nashville has not gone as tall as her peers, but what she has not attained in sheer nose-bleeding height, she has made up in density and expanding the skyline to the south and west to midtown. There are several proposals that would connect the downtown to midtown skylines in just a few years. Exciting! And just getting started too!
