All those one story buildings on the east side of Yonge north of Aura in your picture from yesterday are just begging to be redeveloped. And in your last shot, it's finally starting to look truly tall.

Yeah it looks tall, and it has another 18 floors to go and then has another. 2, 4, 6 floors of mechanical depending on the point of the sweeping curve.

Those buildings were purchased by a developer and slated to be demolished to make way for twin 630 foot towers on an eight story podium.

The building actually looks pretty damn good here until you notice the irregular floor-to-ceiling heights exaggerated by the balconies. Irregular floor heights looked terrible on Trump Toronto with spandrel. Why would anybody think it would be less noticeable with balconies?

What a waste of a decent tower.
