At the corner of Acadie & Normandie near the Farmers Market, this sign was recently posted.

When I got out of the vehicle to take a pic, I noticed "Shown for sample only".

I've noticed that more, and more that usually for commercial real estate they will post a computer rendering of a building for sample it seems to be a subliminal thing. It gets people actually looking more at the property, and in a way may get it sold quicker. This is the reasoning I was given by my friends who have there realtor license anyway.

On a separate note being within, or should I say close to the Dieppe downtown boundary I wonder: 1. How long it will take to sell this property, and 2. What will be built on the lot. If it will just be a small project, or as large as possible.

I'm sure the Lounsbury group is not too fond of this... but this is great news! I love Mercedes-Benz, this is a smart move, now we have Audi & Mercedes-Benz in our area, just awesome, German quality at its best.
Your move Lexus...

This is my preference & observation, I did not mention BMW on purpose, sorry. I knew I would get a reaction. I still like you MonctonRad. I mean Cadillac, Acura and Lincoln are not mentioned either (which all are sold in our region), to each his own I guess. But yes, BMW is part of the trinity of German carmakers. One of the reason I prefer the other 2 is because there's less of them on the road which in my book is an advantage.

1. Audi
2. Mercedes-Benz
3. Volvo (only Freddy)
4. Lexus (only SJ)
5. BMW

P.S. I believe that the Steele group might make a move soon...Jag, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo.

You guys did not just start a car war!

Let me clear things up :
1) BMW
2) Acura (reliable and stylish)
3) Audi (reliable but still not a bimmer)
4) Lexus (reliable but ugly as sin)
5) Mercedes-Benz (shit cars!)
6) Cadillac (will move up my list in due time...)
7) Volvo
8) Lincoln

Now, back to topic...

There is major earth moving going on in central Dieppe.

It would appear that Horizon Place is officially under construction!

Expect another crane by sometime this fall.

I still can't believe that when Mazda moves from Morton to Ferdinand and when BMW built there that it would start an automotive revolution for that area.

And I am more than excited to see what will happen to Dieppe in the next few years and what I love about Dieppe they are a city with a vision. And they will not back down to any potential economic development of their city.

Picture from today - it certainly looks as if components for a tower crane are being unloaded and assembled at the Horizon Place building site.

further to this pic - I noticed this morning there are now blue squares in all of the windows in the rest of the units that seem to match the skyzone sign. They don't say anything (that I could see from the road), but looks like it could be part of Skyzone. Could Skyzone be taking all of the empty units in the building? If so that would be a big place.

From what I heard, they're planning on 20,000 sq ft, so that could be the case.

I see Mary Brown is advertising for a Manager for a Dieppe location. I suppose someone bought the franshise and is taking over the previous MB location .

http://ca.indeed.com/cmp/Mary-Brown'...+Store+Manager .
