I totally agree, cabasse. I see nothing wrong with Atlanta adopting 'Midtown Mile' at all.

I'm not sure if you were here in Midtown are not when the idea was first surfaced. But the whole premises of The Midtown Mile was to mimic Chicago's Magnificent Mile. But we can agree to disagree.

While it is nice to have lofty dreams, i think that Chicago's mm is a little too much for us to replicate.

I like the "Midtown Mile" concept. It gives a sense of destination and it doesn't have to mimic or equal anything else.

this will be cool to connect our skyline with to the other side of the connector.
And this is an idea I was talking about.

I'd like to work on the uphill side and have my employees on the downhill side.

I'd have them bring me files all the time, just for the fun of it and to keep them in shape.

Sorry that this is completely off topic, but that bridge isn't meant to be sloped, it's just the perspective. The buildings aren't in line, but rather at a diagonal, which is why it appears that way. Obviously this isn't a real proposal anyway, but an interesting idea.

Wow, that is utterly hideous, but I think it's inevitable that Home Park is going to get some more highrise development eventually. The lack of transit is kind of a deal killer for now, but that will change when/if some of those east-west streetcar lines start getting added. Atlantic Station does well with its shuttles, but that approach only works with a massive single development and the dedicated bus lanes 17th street has.

I believe it is a joke. You know what they say about jokes that need to be explained so I won't explain it.

Hint: read the name of the file.

It's a big building shaped like an N. It will be built next to the U shaped buildings shown above, causing the local Tea Party folks to launch into coniption fits and explode.

You have got to be kidding. It would be an abomination, and I would consider being a party to a law suit to stop it if this were ever a serious proposal.

Please disregard my remarks if you're joking, but I suspect you mean what you stated. I have yet to figure out your whole shtick...
