This is more of a mid-rise for Toronto these days.

I like the north side of this one for sure. I appreciate that the architect knows the building will be viewed from Nathan Phillips Square and has made an effort to give it some interesting design elements that will look very graphic from the square. Now I wonder what the south side will look like? My guess would be no balconies, or inserted balconies to give it more of an office tower look.

Perhaps they should bulldoze that eye-sore which is the Sheraton Centre. Put something up in it's place that isn't so ugly to look at. Especially from NPS.

The Sheraton is one of the best buildings in that style in Toronto. I'd rather they bulldozed City Place than that.

I actually like City Place, particularly as density filler.
I appreciate each is entitled to their own tastes and opinions, but I'm not of a fan of the ugly concrete of buildings like the Sheraton. Otherwise, its form and shape is good. I would say, that had it had a different exterior it would be another decent tower in the downtown core.

I'm not the biggest LED fan but I feel they could have designed a more engaging pattern.

If they LED's are as bright as depicted in the renderings, we may have a bit of a Toronto Landmark on our hands.

Saw the newspaper ad for INDX - the pitch:

You're a penny pincher and work in the Financial District.

You want to live where you work.

You work hard and you play hard.

You're downtown to the core.

Still looks like something out of Lakeshore East in Chi-town

The Sheraton Centre desparately needs a revamp at grade and the south side with the exposed concrete elevator core leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm dissapointed the city allowed (yet another) tacky condo to be built in the CBD. Somthing similar to the scale/design of 18 York with a 5-6 story retail atrium would have been perfect.

I don't mind this condo. In the end it will turn out to be a great little bit of infill. And it adds some people to the core, which can only make the place a bit more lively, in comparison to another office tower. Which kills all the late night and weekend possibilities for having an exciting after hours core.

INDX condo is 70% sold out.

I guess construction could begin shortly as all approvals are in place.

They must have hit the construction target by now.

Just a matter of getting permits and starting this one up.
