^ No, I think this is all she wrote (while I think there is additional physical space at the actual corner of Randolph and Dearborn, and along Dearborn itself from that corner to the south a bit, that could be built up, I believe there was only ever one core in the vertical expansion plans, and they're of course using all of it for this residential tower)........as this is now the case, I'm hoping that John Murphy now converts the Oriental Theatre tower to a nice boutique hotel instead of his originally-planned apartments (last word on that was he indeed was at least considering such a switch)......

The addition itself is approximately halfway up right now. And, it's cleared each of the 22 W Washington office tower, Macy's, and the buildings directly across Randolph........

Seems like they saved all of the design for the north side and left the back and sides at default.

I think that makes sense in relation to the offices on the south end of block 37. What doesn't make sense to me is what looks like thick silver stripes outlining every piece of glass on the residential portion when the base is trying it's best to hide it's seams. It's really clashing in a few of these pics. Seems like lazy and/or VE'd design.

yes we would all rather see a super tall here, but this tower is making the best of a bad situation.

If I'm counting correctly, I believe they only have 8 more floors to go at this point....

I think this one is turning out very nicely. I hope the Brazilian food court will have a formidable grocery section.

If all the retail tenants pan out, and ignoring aesthetics and the wasted CTA superstation below it, Block 37 will be kind of a success functionally.

^^ Second that (honorable mention to multimodal's nice shot above as well).

Over the weekend, I counted only about 5 more floors to go on the tower.

I'd expect that over the next couple of months, we should start to get a lot of build-out work getting going on some of the various retail/entertainment/dining spaces......I know that a permit was issued within the last few weeks I believe for buildout work of the Lawless restaurant on the ground floor, Dearborn/Randolph corner.....
