It's a toilette bowl for cattle. I have firends that live on it that make fun of Lake Ontario but Lake Simcoe is filthy. Lake Ontario is pristine for the most part.

The Queen Mary 2 was in Halifax this week. This year was the 175th anniversary of the Cunard Line, which started in Halifax in 1840 as a steamship line transporting mail between Britain and North America.

The Cunard block on the waterfront is a lot where the company used to operate. Construction is starting on a new building there this fall and it's going to be called Cunard Quay:

It's now possible to climb the outside of the 'SAKE' building (former redpath sugar silo) facing downtown Montreal. View from the top must be pretty sweet !

Took a pic of a climber over the weekend.

She is an amazing ship, I've crossed on her a couple times. A transatlantic is the closest thing you will find to a time machine.
