Frankfurt apparently ranked 6th globally and 2nd in Europe by number of UHNWI in 2015, while Munich and Hamburg also had relatively high numbers of multi-millionaires. Berlin was 5th within Germany.

Berlin is almost certainly the poorest major city in Germany. Poorer than all the major cities in the former West.

Germany doesn't really have a primary wealth center. It makes sense that no German metro would be among the top globally. It's also, like many Western European countries, fairly equal for first world standards so fewer wealthy compared to U.S.

I expect that depends on your definition. Are we talking about averages or aggregate wealth? There is probably a lot of money in Berlin nowadays even if its per capita GDP is low relative to other cities, because it is quite large.

Frankfurt has more wealthy than Paris? And twice as many wealthy as LA? LOL.

Frankfurt probably has fewer wealthy than 25 U.S. metros. I can't imagine it's Top 50 globally.

Also, any list that doesn't have NY Metro at the top, and LA in the top 4 or 5 is highly suspect. U.S. has a huge proportion of global HNWI.

This list was likely completely fabricated by Knight Frank, as it makes no sense.

There are 4,220 people in Singapore who make >$1m according to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore .

There are 29,100 people in the 5 boroughs of NYC that make >$1m according to the Department of Taxation and Finance.

There are around 18,000 people in the entire united Kingdom who make >$1m according to the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

There are 16,200 people who make >$1m in Los Angeles County according to the California Department of Finance.

These findings are more consistent with the original survey being discussed in this thread.

Now on what planet could Singapore ever have more rich people than NYC? Frankfurt with more rich people than Los Angeles and San Francisco? LOL.
