Just curious what everyone's opinion is on the new Oilers unis ?
Personally I kinda like the white version but the Orange - not so much. I think last years oranges were better.

I like the orange, but it's been mixed some like it, others don't. Although based on their record so far this year maybe its a curse

Was looking close up at our new uniforms. Yeah definitely like the Orange better from last year. But the new ones are still pretty sharp.

I don't like the new jerseys at all, they totally screwed up the colors!! They brightened the orange and darkened the blue like WTF?!?! Literally looks like highlighter orange and navy blue, the contrast is just too much.

The away jersey do look better IMO also. But I think only because the highlighter orange doesn't stand out as much.

Future of rodeo in Edmonton back on the table, right after the dust settles
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmont...tles-1.4399296

Quote:
Discussions are underway to possibly merge the two major rodeos, creating one larger, combined rodeo event.

A spokesperson for the Oilers Entertainment Group told CBC News one of the possibilities includes merging the PBR and the CFR into a 10-day event on back-to-back weekends.

Gleason said the PBR already hosts a two-day event in Arlington, Texas, where the professional bull riders take to the dirt on the first night, and rodeo enthusiasts turn up for the Iron Cowboy on day two.

Either way, discussions about the future of rodeo in Edmonton will begin right after the dust settles, Gleason said.

"Edmonton is sitting on the precipice of having a major PBR and a major rodeo event happening in the same weekend, and there aren't many places where that happens," he said.
Combining PBR and CFR makes infinite sense

5 out of a possible 8 points for the Oil on this road trip... and they played pretty good.

Esks looked solid. Now lets go and kick some Calgary ass.

Nice try Esks.
A pity you couldn't hold on to that early lead.
Also a pity ol' jug ears made that stupid call for a FG instead of a TD to tie with under 2 minutes left.

^ Just the year? How about 21st century, at best?

I mean, Jason hopefully learns, I think he's a keeper, but none-the-less ubelievable.

Time also for the Esks to part company with Mike Benevides.

In spite of how bad the Oilers have been of late, they still manage to clobber the Flames!

Goaltending has to be better. As sloppy as the game was...it was fun to watch.
