^Agreed.

Another very, very small 'park' that is getting a bit of a reno is the post office clock tower in front of the Westin. The City has presented us with a small plan to redo the area around that tower with a few more plans and new paving. That corner is technically zoned park.

Did not take any. We were on walk about - rarely take photos with my 6s...not good enough. The fabric type fencing is quite high btw - or I am short lol. Hopefully someone looking down from that mid-rise next door can take some shots once there is more to see.

I wonder how long it will take to complete? Going to be great to see the one on the corner of 107 Street by NorQuest ... so 2 parks a few blocks apart on 102 Ave.

^^yup, 2 x 1/4 block (~40,000sqft) parks within 2 blocks will indeed be transformative for the livability of that area.

ADP should be Substantially Performed by fall we were told, but realistically it will not be open until next spring. The idea is for a grand formal opening 1 yr from the ground-breaking in June 17'.

^That said, dog owners might be able to use the off-leash area this fall. But depends on contractor completion. Fingers crossed!

Such a long-time coming, but truly excellent to see. I am so proud to have been a part of this project.
