Mayor Clark put it nicely when he said that downtown Saskatoon has 15,000 parking spaces. We don't have a "parking problem" downtown. We have a "I can't park 10 steps away from my destination when I go downtown" problem.
I'm okay with taking transit to the new arena because they can build it to work. They did in Regina. It works wonderfully.
It's not like they're going to pop a 15-16k seat arena downtown and not touch infrastructure, transit, or parking.
