What has to cure when installing hollowcore? Is there grout or sealant between the slabs? Is the hollowcore glued or mechanically fastened to the steel structure?

The ends and sides of the hollow core planks are grouted and tied to each other with rebar and to anchors on top of the steel beams.

Until that is done, the floor diaphragm has no real strength. Sort of like if put plywood on top of floor joists, but didn't screw it down.

Earls target open is June-July 2021. They’ve been told they’ll get the keys Feb 2021.

Ya, sounds like google must cycle URLs if the image isn't explicitly shared as part of an album. If I can come up with something nearly as seamless as direct linking from my google photos account then I'll start using it going forward.

I love the way the Main/Graham portion of the building is shaping up. Like mentioned here before, it looks just like the renders-beautiful IMO.

As far as the crane rising, Biff covered that in a post not long ago. Patience, grasshopper!

Refresh my memory. Is there gonna be something (patio or outdoor amenity space) on the roof of the fishbowl there?

It looks so prime for that sort of a use, but the rook didnt look built to accommodate it.

Wow that looks great! The street view is so much better than from above.

Those splice plates on some of those columns are massive.-

No there will not be a patio on top of the podium. It will be on the main floor, aka a few feet above ground level – like in the renders. Earls looked at the "rooftop" patio but they would have had to take space on the inside of that storey as well, but didn't want to.

This location is about 30-40% smaller than the existing one on the inside, and half the size on the patio. But that's the model the company is going now. They'd rather be full most of the time than go large and only hit capacity for 4 hours a week in the fall.

So to be clear does that mean that it is still possible to become an outdoor space or did they scrap that altogether.

Would be a real shame since it would be a huge wasted opportunity to shut the door on a rooftop there
