Wedding jitters.

Speaking of which, I assume that the article's reference to young professionals still "living the college lifestyle" is perhaps a euphemism for wild and crazy singles. Or else just folks who still pull a lot of all-nighters, stress over their futures, or otherwise engage in certain, ummm, recreational activities. In any event, that'll probably exclude YOU in a few months.

I don't know what/ if any night time lighting scheme this building will have, but when Cira Center is lit there are are some pretty cool reflections coming off Evo.

I thought I read somewhere that the wall facing towards center city would have some kind of design or green space to it.

Now all they have to do it clean that area up. With FMC being built, it should add some green, instead of some much concrete.

Evo makes its debut in the traditional annual photo of Penn's new freshman class (as Lancaster Square also makes itself known):

For something just a little different, I spotted this skyline shot on Flickr and I'm pretty sure it was taken from one of EVO's upper floors. What a beaut.

New additions Evo and 2116 Chestnut EASILY have the best views in the city for any residential highrise. Close second= The St. James.

Awesome video too posted by Philly Fan on the Philadelphia Development thread. Really cool aerial showcasing Evo. I recommend clicking on the Youtube link and watching this beaut in 1080p

Nice find Muji. The Mandeville Place parking lot looks rather conspicuous. Walnut Street, a few blocks from Rittenhouse square, on the water, river parks: perfect spot for our 2000ft Philadelphia Spire...

The area east of the river there is crying out for at least 3-4 high rises. Lets hope they build something on top of the building with the whale mural as has been speculated.

I hope developers like Dranoff read this forum. Seriously. Not a lot of proposals age gracefully, but Mandeville still looks world class. Maybe we should launch a campaign and aim it at local developers, someone please buy these blueprints and make it happen

I mean with all the projects in the works, mid-rises that stop short at being just okay, how hasn't Mandeville been revisited by someone?

I think Mandeville Place would be best suited for the Castleway location at 19th and Walnut. It would fit perfect on the Walnut St. lot and being such an upper class type of tower I can't see it nowhere but the square. What do you guys think?

The way the Mandeville is designed, the lower parts would have obstructed views, thus making half the tower hard to sell.It was specifically designed that lot.
