Looks like this is taking 2 weeks a floor (came above ground around the first of the year, and its been like 31-32 weeks since the start of the year) Kinda slow progress, but it is already making and impact.

SFHog has a couple of new photos from last week: http://www.sfhog.com/45-lansing-cons...ogress-update/

It looks like the color of the materials are pretty similar to One Rincon Hill.

Buildgroup is doing this and 55 Laguna. Both projects are arguably the slowest in the city. Is that a knock on their unionized workers/subs, or a knock on them individually as a group? Either way, the 1 floor per 2 week speed is just killing me.

This is growing slowly to be sure, but they already have several floors of facade + windows complete. Something like 350 Mission or 222 Second are growing like weeds, but have no facade yet. It could just be the preference of the construction team to raise the concrete and facade with a short interval rather than waiting for 25+ stories to start the exterior. It is not opening for 18 months, and doesn't have to rush to market quite like office buildings do.

Love that shot -- with 222 Second, the west end of Transbay and a peak at SFMOMA in the background.

I'm on the 33rd floor. I wish I had a north view of 375, 340, and 181 Fremont as well as the Salesforce Tower construction sites. There will be a sky lounge on the top floor of ORH tower 2 opening in December where I'll be able to take some great pictures of all those sites though.

This pic didn't turn out how I hoped but this helps fill in nicely the awkward gap in the skyline set by ORH

This one is by far the slowest:
http://www.socketsite.com/archives/2...condos_on.html

I drive by this almost everyday on my commute home. They are just starting the second floor, but the first has been up for at least a month. I almost wondered if they were cancelling it until I saw the second start to be built.

I think the Mosso building at 5th and Folsom is the slowest by far. Taking forever. I think the entire skin on 100 Van Ness went down and back up while they still haven't finished the skin on Mosso.

Noticed this one is now visible on the skyline, especially from the south as well as from certain vantages in the heart of downtown.

I thought we should take some of this weekend's 45 Lansing pics from the SF thread and show them here as well:

I'm not a huge fan of the backside (SW) so far, but I guess it is a good contrast to all the glass towers that will surround it.

I feel the same. The skin is pretty lackluster.

That said, the massing and location of this tower will help the skyline more gradually "step up" to One Rincon Hill's Tower 1, which until recently really stood out like a sore thumb.
