The most stupid thing IMO is that too many from the French nationwide media (most of them being Paris-based) act like they're almost shocked by large privately funded projects such as that of Hermitage (€2.8 billion), while virtually no taxpayer/government money is involved in that kind of projects.
Meanwhile, they say nothing much about the massive waste of public money in this country.
Go figure. There's something sure anyway, I'm getting badly fed up with that anti-business French mindset.

I forgot to mention, though, that cost definitely includes the maintenance of the building for the 20 or so years to come. At least I hope so. lol
