Great set of photos. I was just in Montreal for three days last week for the first time. I liked the city very much but left just slightly disappointed. I think I'd simply built up my expectations given the threads on this site and the city's international reputation. I do know that Air Canada is awful. We had the worst experiences both flying to and from YUL.

Amazing photos, as usual, mr.John! Thanks for sharing.

I like the variety of faces and styles in Montreal. Your people shots are excellent, as I usually say. I see Montreal very bohemian, something I like too.

Do you consider this last weekend as late summer? Probably in Montreal will be so.

I hope to visit Montreal for third time at the beginning of next month of October. I´m wishing to go there again, I miss Fall there.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

I was asking myself the same question. Early August is mid-summer to me, not late summer. Late summer would be september.

Thank you for another masterful set Mr. John.
I feel like one day a close-up of my resting face is going to appear on one of your albums. Gotta make sure I'm looking real presentable when I'm out and about.

^ hmm, it looks like you might see montreal in a whole new way for awhile if you ate those mushrooms.

i like how the two condo towers suddenly sprung up out of nowhere downtown - made me laugh! great people shots too.

^ Really? Some "shrooms" - we call them champignons in this sophisticated syntax of ours - that grow on trees are perfectly edible and won't hurt anybody. But then you got to know about "shrooms." I wouldn't take a risk to pick any over there yet, but I'm kind of learning over here on every possible occasion.

You pick your gun and go hunting, ok?

Lol that's a joke. I'm nastily mocking you...
But you wanted that.
