Boleslawiec, Poland - the Polish Pottery Capitol of the Universe

Boleslawiec is a nice little city of about 40,000 in southwest Poland renowned for its manufacture of Polish pottery. I visited last year a couple of days after Christmas to go pottery shopping with my wife.

Fascinating-you must be the leading European photographer on this website now! Amazing contrast between the concrete slab blocks and the elaborate Christmas decorations and those pictures of the square lit up are exceptional.

The various art installations are interesting.

Polish cities are very underrated. This one looks well-preserved.

Awesome pics! As far as the architecture, all the older architecture (up to 1945) is formatively German/Prussian I believe.
