It's downright insane! ( been strafed twice by cars running red lights and driving straight into pedestrian crowds so far ) and once by a moped!

Browsing through my archives, I had not realized I haven't posted this set to my website and here. Almost 8 years later, these artifacts luckily are not any more out of date.

The former Shanghai Match Factory has been transformed into an interesting off-the-beaten track museum, tracing through labels on our daily necessities. Out of its collection of some 3 million artifacts, there is a huge assortment of matchbox labels, tracing through China's modern history, when the advertisements transitioned from artwork to political messages.

The 5-storey concrete cattle slaughterhouse at 1933 Old Millfun has been revitalized into a shopping destination. Sky-bridges and ramps around the central core were once used by cattle heading to their deaths, but now are beaming with tourists and photographers.
