I really, really hope they can stun RSL and us fans at their home playoff game a couple weeks from now. This team is incredibly fun to watch. I went nuts after the last second header from Frederic Piquionne.

Oh man, that last minute header is what got me excited about the second leg. Though I worry that RSL will hold them to a tie for that game.

I will say, just watching the Timbers beat Seattle in both legs in the playoffs made me happy.

A Timbers playoffs thread but not one Oregon Ducks grievance thread? Tch. I know what type of "Oregonians" you guys all are! Tch. Yeah. Not REAL Oregonians. Fans. People. ...

The Timbers are looking at expanding Civic Stadium by 3,500 seats. Makes sense with a waiting list of 13,000

I always thought they undersold themselves with the expansion, it really should have been a full double deck stands rather than what they ended up building. Though it is good that they are looking at ways to improve and expanding the seating capacity.

Upped to about 4,000 seats.
