So much for the "glass will be super late" fear mongering... People said it would start showing up in February and here were are with one day left in the month and it's showing up.

Amazing shot! Whats going on with dusable park, are they done removing the contaminated soil and just waiting on a design? Or is not going to be completed till 400 lsd gets a project?
Anyone got photo updates of the navy pier hotel?

I couldnt tell if that was grass or top soil. But it does look like they planted trees along the perimeter. Maybe they will keep it a blank canvas until the spire site gets a plan in fruition.

The glass strip was too narrow and has too much glare for me to determine a color, but off hand it seems (or I just assumed) that its blue, like the most recent rendering indicated.

I certainly hope its green though. It would look so badass!

The crap in the middle has been removed, but remediation isn't finished. The perimeter of the site needs decontamination still, but that can't happen until the seawall is replaced.

Isn't that just concrete? I kinda looks like glass from that angle, but I think the entire structure is just concrete at this point.

^ Check out BVictor's post from last page, post #3236. There is definitely a strip of glass along the middle floor plate in the picture.

Note the adjustable struts (silver) that will allow this to hug the wall as the wall goes in, then out, then in.

Glass is blue. (maybe skewing a little towards green like WPW, but no where near the green samples/mockups we saw before) Will be interesting to see more of it to get a better read.

The green from BVIC's photo was reflections of the buildings across the river - not the glass color.

Well, keep in mind that the color/tint of the glass will change depending on the location. Also, they're already installing????!!! I thought it was delayed??
