When I went by the other day main building was about halfway gone and they were doing borings all over the parking lot. That is a nice piece of land

Does Georgia Power still own everything Virginia Ave and Pylant St. that used to be streetcar repair facilities? They could make a mint off that too

They do. With the VHNA, I imagine they’ll demand a lower parking ratio for any development at that location. Would be a good to try units without a dedicated parking space and increased bike facilities. However I am sure that may freak out some due to street parking. Goal would obviously present people an opportunity to live car-free and lower construction costs by providing fewer parking spaces.

It helps to not focus on the bad news all day.

Anybody know what is under construction on Fulton St SW, immediately south of I-20 and to the east of Capitol Ave and the Ramada hotel? It appears to be outside of Carter's Summerhill project area. There are a few small buildings under construction.

EDIT: I searched on Accela and couldn't find anything.

I believe that's Alliance Residential's Broadstone Summerhill.

Speaking of: has anyone seen renderings of Broadstone Summerhill? I remember that they mentioned Victorian accents to compliment the neighborhood. Btw its supposed to be three separate buildings.

^I'm not sure that's it, unless it's more than just the three multi-story buildings, or the design has changed. Under construction currently along Fulton St are what appear to be one and two story buildings. It's a very large construction site.

I wonder if Hanover West Peachtree's retail will ever be filled.
