Yes, the Gansevoort Hotel. I believe the proposal is for about 40 floors. The design is several notches above Clear Spirit, but would involve demolishing a historic building and rebuilding just the facade.

Getting Quite tall. We might need to get a detailed and up close perspective rather shortly.

Travis does a lot of great updates in this area, maybe he could do it.
I would if I still lived down there.

Those condo's around the distillery area are looking good, and are adding some height and density to the eastern boundary of the downtown...

Nice shots. I can't believe I haven't been to Toronto yet, but I kind of want to wait until these new projects are done.

If you're waiting for construction to slow down, you might never get here. Btw, I'd recommend the Newark to Toronto route on Porter Airlines. They use the downtown island airport so there's not much of a commute after your plane lands. There's always Amtrak.

Good point, but I'd still prefer to go when some of the larger proposals are done. It's great to discover each city's photographic character, especially after it's seen a construction boom like Toronto's.

Blasphemy! I'm driving. I'd hit up Buffalo, Niagara Falls, or the Finger Lakes area on the way.
