Walked by the site today--it was hopping! Crane base is in on the SE corner. It's expected to go up on June 12. Columns popping up all over the place. Exciting!

An update from the developer. This is moving very slowly so far.

ABJ just announced the construction loan closed. Thanks to Bank of the Ozarks and MSDell.

I'm really surprised that they didn't have the loan already. But that may have been the reason for slow construction up until now.

It certainly was. The final financing was contingent on a certain amount of pre-sales and with the Covid crisis, things seemed to slow down drastically. NTP on the above ground construction was just approved last week so this should start taking off.

I love this tower. This is going to expand the prominence of the entire skyline further south. This thing will look massive from east Austin and the Riverside area.

Remember 70 Rainey? This is going zonkers, compared to the progress the TWO construction workers made on 70 Rainey for what seemed to be forever. There were even people who wondered if it would ever get completed at all!

They have a bunch of columns up now. Probably two dozen or so.

This is going to be a great "front door" view for those on 35 North.
Excellent looking tower.

Sexy crane cluster. Luffing cranes are so much prettier.
