You mean the North facade? That's what happens when another tower is expected to eventually go up on the property right next to it making any expensive design features a waste of money. In this case it's Tower 5C.

I meant parking garage section facing Congress - it's the only side that isn't covered in the orange paneling right now.

Latest photos of the Molar. It looks like they are getting ready to put the burnt orange cladding on the backside. Not the greatest pictures, but I was flying this from Doug Sam Hill Point across the river, so I couldn't get too low or I would lose contact with my drone. I'm amazed they built it like that, TBH. It essentially assumes that 5C or something else tall is an absolute lock on that parcel next door. It's built to be attached up to another building's backside. Dislike.
